Scotland's oldest inn was established on the 3rd of November 1572, with the "model" village (now a conservation area) of Kenmore being built around the hotel from 1760. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Perthshire highlands, deep within Rob Roy and Campbell country. Nestling on the banks of the River Tay, the hotel is famous for its warmth, charm and highland hospitality. Being centrally located, the hotel is ideal for touring with the area being rich in things to see and do including golf, fishing, watersports, walking and cycling, with castles and historic places aplenty.
