A friendly, well appointed hotel with views across the Ribble Valley. The hotel is located in an excellent position for touring the north west. The superb leisure facilities feature a heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room, gymasium and a sunbed room. Guests can relax in the hotel’s large lounge before enjoying an excellent dinner.

Dear Geoff, Thank you for taking the time to write with your comments. I am proud of all my staff here at the hotel and espcially so of Joanne and Karen who you mention personally. I feel we have an excellent team who all work well together and am pleased that you appreciate them. I'm glad you enjoyed the quality of the food here at Swallow Preston even if it was in comparison to the limited offering from a local competitor! I will be looking at the breakfast offering when we review our menus and therefore hope to improve that aspect of our service. With regard to the taxis, I have since looked into a contract with a local taxi operator who I hope will provide us with a better deal than those we currently use and thank you for brining this matter to my attention. Excellent value for money. very pleasant staff and excellent food. Only complaint was hotel was slightly cold.

Since your stay I have personally reviewed the central heating times for the bedroom heating any have extended these as I found necessary during the cold spell we seem to be having!
