Very clean. Hotel staff could not be more helpful only thing letting it down was evening meal,this is a £19 allowance from the very limited express menu that the hotel offers. Apart from that we will return....

Excellent value, deal included £15 per head per night off at Frankie 7 Bennies which give additional 20% off for Holiday Inn Express customers. Also nice wine and thorntons chocolates on arrival and use of the coffee machine in the loby. Brilliant value stay, will use again....
This hotel ideally situated for our needs for Newcastle and Beamish Open Air Museum..Very Good Price and good value...Very friendly and helpful staff, in particular, receptionist Laura Barrett who not only gave us some good tips in going into Newcastle, but also provided printed directions to the Beamish Museum...Thank you ,Laura..You were a great help.. We would return to this Hotel....
Breakfast on the basic side at the hotel, great evening meals at Fankie & Benies. Overall worth the moneys....
