We have had a very pleasant stay here but I feel the hotel is really needing a freshen up. The room we had in the Riverside annexe was clean and comfortable, however the carpet was very stained which we found a bit off puting. The food was very good and the staff in the dining room were very friendly, efficient and pleasant. We took a day or two to work out the menu which doesn't change but the daily specials were excellent. The overall experience was very comfortable and enjoyable and we wi......

The meals in the hotel were very good, although there is a surcharge on some meals, which we guessed would be the case, although we were not made aware of this. The room we were in was adequate though was in need of refurbishment. We were assured this was on the todo list. Despite this it was a pleasant, reasonably priced stay, but two days was enough....
