The building is full of historic char­­acter, which is reflected in the hotel’s variously sized, cosy bedrooms.

Known as the outdoor capital of the UK, Perthshire is a playground for adventure-seekers. Nearby are many opportunities for water rafting, abseiling, gorge walking, canyoning and mountain-biking. Aberfeldy itself has several claims to fame, it was made famous by Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns and is also known as being Scotland’s first Fair Trade town.

Take the A9 to Old Military Road and follow to A827 into Aberfeldy. Eventually turn right onto Bank Street and follow to Bridge End, where the hotel is situated.

I have sent an email via reservations headed complaints following my visit, it was a very bad experience and as a valued customer I feel you must be aware that the standard of this hotel does not meet the standards we have experienced in the past. This should have been a memorable weekend for my husband and I a gift from family to mark our fortieth wedding anniversary and my husband's 60th, I look forward to your reply, If this had been my first experience using this service it would have been ......

This hotel was appalling. I had expected the basics because of the price but this was way below the basics. The room stank of cigarette smoke; the pillows and duvets were paper thin and there were no additional blankets or pillows; one cup was provided for two of us; the bathroom floor was filthy and there was no shower; the car park was full so we were told we would have to park on the street; we arrived at 9.30pm and the bar closed at 10pm; the window was broken so get any fresh air, we had to......
