Nice hotel, good room overlooking Park area with nice walks to the River Spey. Short walk to Granton-on-Spey centre. We were lucky with the weather so were able to visit Carrbridge, Aviemore, Elgin & Nairn by car as public transport very sparse. Hotel Staff friendly & good service considering that 3 coaches were there at the same time!! Car parking rather limited but able to park on the road if necessary. Food (half board) was good & room facilities good e.g. hairdrier, kettle, coffee & tea......

The previous visit we had here was a fantastic weekend however this one was vastly different. We booked 3 double rooms and requested them together. We got 3 rooms on the first floor but not together - one at the top of the stairs 107 - nice room, other right at end of the corridor - 115 - room acceptable, the third rooms was at the opposite end of the corridor - room 101. If you are allocated this room reject it. Small double bed, only heating was a small fan heater, hairdryer was intermittent,......
