Recently reopened after the winter - Some dining room staff were a bit of a shambles However the head waiter was exceptionally helpful. he went through the menu identifying items which contain lactose and arranged alternatives to the sauces All of the other staff we encountered were friendly and helpful Only negative point was that they took an extra £2 when I paid for my 2 nights dinner wine by DEBIT card ...

One of the best breaks I have had for a while. The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier, especially the dining room staff, all were very pleasant and humorous. Food was up to standard with a good variety. Room facing the front on the bottom flat was well furnished, clean, with ample wardrobe and drawer space.
