My wife and I have just returned from a two night all inclusive break to The King Robert Hotel in Stirling. I have no complaints regarding the hotel but I do regarding the prices charged by easy breaks for the all inclusive package. The all inclusive package cost us an extra £60.00 for four drinks each on both nights, equating to £3.75 per drink on average. We really enjoyed our weekend at this hotel. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and caters for a wide mix of guests - there were a number of families with young children as well as couples & groups when we stayed. The decor in the bedrooms might not be the most up to date but they were clean and both bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size and the showers are powerful (well done for providing shower caps, so many hotels seem to forget these now) . WE wont be going back what a disappointment, On arrival reception was ok and asked what time we wanted to book dinner this we did,we preceded along a smelly hall to our room not too bad we thought. Dinner was awful hotel seemed to cater more for bus parties stopping off for high teas.
