We had a really enjoyable stay here. The standard is commendably high in all respects. The food was well thought out, cooked and presented and could not be faulted. The portions were not over-large, which suited me and my wife very well, although it's possible it might not suit those used to heartier portions. Service was excellent throughtout, despite the Dunhill championships being on during our visit. The room was of a high standard. The short break was excellent value for money. Take a bow, Carnoustie Hotel!
