Jim and I have been at the Dreadnought hotel about 4 or 5 years ago in July. We could not falter the food and the service but I am sure we were in a small double room with a shower. Unfortunately when we returned on 13 February 2012, we did not have a shower in the room this time (it would have been acceptable over the bath) and the decor in the room was very dated, could have been better. We did like our room (210) the bed was comfy and the views were great. The service in the hotel and the restaurant were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and dinners were of a high standard. We both enjoyed our 4 night stay very much. If the hotel was updated with showers and refurbished I am sure my husband and I would return.
