We stayed here for an Easter weekend over 3 Nights. The hotel is under refurbishment but this did not detract from the break as there was no sign of contractors during our stay. The hotel was clean and the room was large and the staff were very polite.

We stayed here for an Easter weekend over 3 Nights. The hotel is under refurbishment but this did not detract from the break as there was no sign of contractors during our stay. The hotel was clean and the room was large and the staff were very polite.
There are a few issues that let it down though. The evening meals were served with frozen/tinned veg, this detracted a little. Also it was obvious that the table clothes were either poorly laundered or were not changed at all. It is little things that get noticed.
Overall for a short stay the value for money was good and the location ideal, we will probably be back when the weather improves :)
