"easy-breaks.com" or "we" and the customer ("you", "the customer")
Please read these terms and conditions carefully in order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding the terms on which reservations are accepted.
Your contract is with easy-breaks.com. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation. It is made on the terms of these booking conditions. You will see that how the terms apply to you varies depending whether you have purchased hotel accommodation only or a package from us. A package is a combination of two or more components, such as accommodation plus a tourist service, sold at an inclusive price.
All easy-breaks.com holidays offered are subject to availability prior to booking and hotels only have a limited number of rooms available at the published rates. Hotels may sometimes change dates or acts published on this website due to external circumstances.
All easy-breaks.com rates quoted are per person, per break, subject to availability and based on 2 guests sharing a double or twin room. Single and family rooms are available on request, please ask us for more details. Please note that easy-breaks.com holidays are valid for the months stated, however it is very likely that traditional holiday projects, annual and town events may be excluded from the offers. Please ask one of our sales agents should you wish further clarification.
Certain hotels offer dinner, bed and breakfast packages where dinner is taken from the a la carte menu, and in such cases a specific amount from the DBB package rate is allocated for dinner. Please note that this allowance can be exceeded if desired, with any excess amount being payable on departure from your hotel. Where we have been advised of a dinner allocation, this is noted in the break entry.
Please note that packages with inclusions in addition to bed and meal basis, e.g. spa treatments, attraction visit, room upgrade and named activity amongst others, are offered on a subject to availability basis and that easy-breaks.com is unable to influence the provision of these services. In addition, opening times and availability of attractions can also be subject to change without prior notice to either easy-breaks.com or the partner hotel concerned. Transport to and from any attractions/inclusions is not provided unless otherwise stated. Where inclusions are received in your room or with a meal (e.g. wine, chocolates, etc) this may be on a per room basis rather than per person and only apply to two people sharing a twin or double room.
Where a hotel is offering a date specific event package, please note this may be subject to change or cancellation. Should this circumstance arise, this is out with the control of easy-breaks.com
PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE
easy-breaks.com will guarantee that you always pay the best price available. If you see a lower publicly available rate on a Third Party website excluding Discount Voucher/Flash Sale websites including Groupon, Itison, 5pm and Living Social etc, arriving on the same date for the same duration in the same hotel utilising the same accommodation type and on the same meal basis, we will price match this rate
easy-breaks.com holidays are only available by pre-payment at the time you make your booking, whether by credit card, debit card, or easy-breaks.com voucher.
On arrival some hotels may request that guests provide credit/debit card details for pre authorisation of any purchases made whilst staying at the hotel.
easy-breaks.com offers "cash back booking protection" at a charge of £12 per room which gives cover for a full refund of all accommodation costs up to 24 hours prior to arrival (arrival being 2pm on first date of holiday). This allows you to cancel or amend for whatever reason, material or otherwise, with a full refund of the accomodation cost.. It is only with booking protection that Easy-Breaks.com can offer a refund. Booking Protection is automatically added to your online reservation. Prior to providing payment details, you will have the opportunity to remove the booking protection. Any refund made will be as per your original payment method Bookings arriving between 23rd December and 2nd January inclusive and certain other bookings, specified at point of sale, will be subject to separate terms and conditions which are available on request. An administration fee applies to all bookings made.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Some hotels can accommodate the early arrival of guests; however it is unlikely that bedrooms will be available before 15:00 hours. It is requested that guests vacate their rooms before 11:00 hours although this may vary from hotel to hotel.

easy-breaks.com will do our best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as possible after being notified of them. However, because of the technology that is required in operating easy-breaks.com there may be time when errors may occur. For example, very occasionally, this may result in a price, product, service or other detail displayed or presented being incorrect. In this case we reserve the right to cancel that contract but this of course will be without any liability to you.
Please note that the information and prices shown on this website may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website and prices at the time of booking, regrettably changes and errors may occur. You must therefore ensure that you check all details of your chosen holiday with us at the time of booking.
All prices quoted are subject to alteration by us without prior notice, if we find it necessary to do so in circumstances beyond our control (for example, due to changes in Government legislation such as VAT) Changes in exchange rates mean the prices advertised for breaks in the eurozone could be subject to alteration.

If You Change Your Holiday
If, after your confirmation has been issued, you wish to change your holiday arrangements in any way, for example your chosen departure date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. You will be liable to pay an administration charge of £12 per person if you do not have booking protection on your booking. You should be aware that these costs could increase the closer to the departure date that changes are made and you should contact us as soon as possible.
If We Change Your Holiday
We reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the arrangements stated should we find it necessary in circumstances beyond our control (for example, due to changes in Government legislation) before confirming your booking. If we are required to make any changes to the arrangements detailed, you will be informed of such changes before you commit.
If we make a major change to your holiday after confirmation, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure. You will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, accepting an offer of alternative arrangements of comparable standard from us if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value), or cancelling your booked holiday and receiving a full refund of all monies paid.
If You Cancel Your Holiday
(Applicable to bookings without easy-breaks.com Booking Protection)
Without booking protection, your reservation is non-refundable.
We regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by, or you suffer any damage or loss as a result of "force majeure". In these terms and conditions "force majeure" means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
If We Cancel Your Holiday
We reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your holiday arrangements. If we do so (except where the cancellation is due to your failure to pay the required payment) you can choose either to take alternative holiday arrangements from us if available (if the alternative is of a lower standard you will receive a refund of the difference in price) or a full refund.
All evening meals are a minimum two course table d'hote or a dinner allowance applies. This allowance can be exceeded if you wish with any excess charge to be settled by you directly with the hotel on departure.
Child payment policies vary from hotel to hotel. Guests should please enquire at the time of booking as to the policy for their requested hotel.
All special requests made by you at the time of booking will be passed onto the hotel which will make every reasonable effort to meet these but unfortunately they cannot be guaranteed.
If you have a problem during your holiday, you must inform the hotel (the manager, owner or duty manager) which has a responsibility to remedy any issue or provide explanation. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 14 days of your return home by writing to our easy-breaks.com Customer Services Department at 1 Queen Charlotte Lane, Edinburgh EH6 6BL giving your booking reference and all other relevant information Complaints can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please keep your letter concise and to the point. This will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you.
It is essential that you communicate any complaint to the supplier of the services in question without delay whilst on your easy-breaks.com holiday.
If you fail to follow this simple procedure we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you were in the resort and this may affect your rights under this contract.
We will not be liable where any failure in the performance of the contract is due to: you; or a third party or unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or an event which we, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall. Our liability shall be limited to a maximum of two times the cost of your holiday. Our liability will also be limited in accordance with and/or in an identical manner to any relevant international convention, for example the Paris Convention in respect of the provision of accommodation, which limit the amount of compensation that you can claim.
As a result of you making your booking, we will obtain details of your name and address and possibly other information about you which constitute "personal data" for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. We will process this personal data for the purposes of providing your easy-breaks.com holiday (including sending your details to any3rd parties directly involved with your booking, e.g. hotels, ticket providers, etc) and sending you information about future offers and services from us. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you will be deemed to have consented to this processing. We will try and solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within Scotland.
