This charming hotel has a long and storied history, welcoming weary travellers through their doors since the 16th century! The hotel is set on the bank of Loch Tay on the southern shores. The location is among the most picturesque in the country and offers visitors total relaxation and tranquillity, perfect for long walks and outdoor recreation.

The hotel has 10 acres of well-maintained grounds for guests to enjoy, as well as a variety of different rooms, many featuring views over nearby Loch Tay and the dramatic Lawers mountain range. The hotels in-house restaurant is an award-winning kitchen, offering great wine paired with traditional, local cuisine making use of the finest local produce.

Accommodation comes in different forms depending on what suits guests best. There is a converted cottage adjacent to the hotel, providing the most luxurious accommodation they have available, five bothies, each sitting on the side of the Ardeonaig burn itself, and these are equipped with luxury king beds, huge bathrooms with roll top bath and walk in shower. There are also spacious rooms in the courtyard and a mix of different room types in the main hotel. All guest bedrooms have been finished to a high standard, with luxurious linens, contemporary décor and lavishly appointed bathrooms complete with a range of high class Scottish toiletries.

Ardeonaig has evolved over the years, adding luxury accommodation to its timeless welcome. Guests can take a stroll in the 10 acre garden and enjoy the orchard and vineyard, relax in the wonderful library with its outstanding panoramic outlook or take it easy in the lounge in front of the cosy log fire.

Loch Tay sits at the heart of an extraordinary natural larder. Wild game, daily caught fish, wild garlic and organically farmed meat is sourced practically from the doorstep to make an appearance on the regularly changing menu.
