The village of Quorn is one of the stops on the Great Central Railway – a wonderful steam engine train journey. The village is surrounded on all sides by pretty countryside, which is ideal for those who enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, wildlife watching and taking long walks or bike rides through the local area. Stonehurst Family Farm and Museum

Established in 1951, this visitor attraction has been entertaining guests in a fun and care-free family farm atmosphere, where guests can get up close to the delightful farm animals, collect eggs from the hens, take tractor rides, hold baby animals, ride ponies and explore the beautiful surrounding nature tails. There is also a motor museum to check out as well as a teashop to relax in following an afternoon of being a farmer.

Great Central Railway

This iconic and award-winning locomotive railway track has been in operation since 1847, and saw extensions through the years, which encompassed Greater London. Today it is known as the United Kingdom’s only double track, main line heritage railway. A glorious experience for both those with an interest in locomotion or those interested in a scenic and peaceful journey, with opportunity to see some beautiful parts of the country.

Bradgate Park

This beautiful expanse of over 300 hectares of pristine Leicestershire countryside is ready to be explored either by foot or by bike. The area was once an exclusive hunting park, but is now open to the public who can explore the ruins of Bradgate House, spot herds of wild deer and journey through the many terrains hosted within this park.
