Hawkstone Park Follies

Moreton Corbet Castle

The earliest remains found in this impressive, castle ruin date from the 13th century. The castle has seen a number of renovations since then, undergoing remodelling in the 16th century, with each addition the castleís faÁade grows in splendour ñ with multiple styles of architecture on show including intricate carvings upon the stone. This ornate and atmospheric historical site is ideal for those who wish to learn more about the area and its local history, or for those who have an interest in ancient architecture.

Shrewsbury Castle

The castle was originally erected in the 11th century and changed hands a number of times, seeing a turbulent history up until the present day. The castle now serves as the house of the impressive collections of the Shropshire Regimental Museum Trust, which includes fascinating pictures, uniforms, medals, weapons and other military equipment from the regimentís origins in the 18th century, right up until the present day.
