Grange-over-Sands

Grange-over-Sands

This peaceful seaside town is nestled between mountains and the ocean, in one of the most picturesque locations in England, Cumbria. It’s clear to see the Edwardian influences upon the architecture of the town, harking back to its heyday as a fashionable spa retreat in the 18th and 19th centuries. Visitors can still explore the many gardens, arcades, tearooms as well as the attractive promenade, which is ideal for an afternoon stroll. You can sit back and relax in this idyllic town and admire the natural splendour of the English countryside and coastline.

We love Grange-over-Sands because...

  • Countryside meets coastline
  • Romantic architecture
  • Heritage steam railway
