Arundel

Arundel

Arundel is a historic town located in West Sussex, full of real English character and age-old charm. The town has been well preserved and protected through the years, providing a rich heritage with the sort of attractions you might expect of a larger town or city. From the 19th century cathedral and the Bignor Roman Villa, to the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, Arundel is bursting with things to see. The real star of the show is Arundel Castle, a wonderful structure that's been looming over the town for close to a thousand years.

The wider area of West Sussex also has much to offer, from the nearby coast, with plenty of beaches and seaside towns like Bognor Regis and Worthing. Further along lies Brighton, a vibrant and lively town that’s home to a beautiful beach, some wonderful shops, theatres and an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

We love Arundel because...

  • Full of age-old charm
  • Ideal for history enthusiasts
  • Home of Arundel Castle
