Bridlington

Bridlington

This wonderful seaside town is bursting with charm. A traditionally British seaside resort, Bridlington provides modern facilities, promenades and attractions. Visitors can enjoy two outstanding, award-winning sandy beaches as well as the traditional activities of fun-fair amusements and donkey rides that we have all come to love. Further along the coast, visitors will find walking opportunities to the stunning chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head, as well as the iconic lighthouse, where a number of different species of seabirds, including puffins, can be admired.

The north and south promenades differ, with north featuring Edwardian charm and the South being a more modern affair – both are excellent for a leisurely stroll. The Old Town of Bridlington has a quaint 17th century high street to explore, with an eclectic mix of independent shops, antique stores and cafés. On the town green lies the St Mary’s Priory Church, built nearly a millennia ago as one of the biggest and most significant monasteries in Northern England.

We love Bridlington because...

  • Traditional British seaside resort
  • Award-winning sandy beaches
  • Ideal for coastal walks
