The Hotel is fantastically situated right in the heart of Moffatt and the parking makes it worth staying alone. The room we were allocated was spot on. no faults whatsoever, clean, big, well decorated. good sized bathroom. Just want you need. The bar/restaurant area was well attended by courteous staff. The drinks selection was good and appreciated the whisky and gin menu. A couple of things that were annoying however. The break advertised a bottle of Prosecco in the room. Indeed there was fiz......

Very disappointing. The steak diner special was so bad we could not eat it and left to find another restaurant and we indicated that we were not willing to pay for the meal. Firstly the waiter did not know what came with the steak and didn't find out. The chips were cold and taste less the onion rings were greasy and cold the steaks were cold and without taste all served on a cold plate. We were the only couple in the restaurant and bar which perhaps is an indication of the poor quality. Very n......
