Very low cost deal, so not surprised that the decoration was tired. The breakfast choice was limited, and we were slow to be attended to. However, once we were, the service was good and we got what we asked for....

This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is not a four or five star hotel but you get what you pay for in terms of an old rambling hotel. A good bed, quiet room and excellent food is want you really want and this hotel delivers on that. We found that eating in the bar was even better than eating in the dining room especially if there was a coach party in at the time you wanted to eat. The restaurant seats about 200 so there is always plenty of room. Where would others complain? the size......
