This utterly dramatic 14th century castle is one of the best-preserved in all of Scotland. Admire the remarkable 100-foot gatehouse, the grand Lord’s Hall, musician’s gallery and courtyard. The castle has featured in several film sets, including Monty Python’s ‘The Holy Grail’; the TV series Outlander; and it was also used to portray ‘Winterfell’ in acclaimed TV show ‘Game of Thrones’ – making this Scottish castle one that has captured the imaginations of many.
