Established in 1903 by champion golfer Willie Fernie, Caldwell Golf Club has become an iconic part of the town, with people travelling from all over the country to tee off over the picturesque parklands

Paisley Abbey

This historic abbey is located centrally in Paisley and was originally built in the 12th century by the Normans. The abbey has seen many pupils and worshipers over the years, including legendary figure, William Wallace who famously rebelled against the English, who eventually burned the abbey down in the early 14th century, although the abbey was rebuilt. King Robert II was also born in this abbey, the first of the Stuart dynasty. The abbey has seen much history, destruction and renovation in its time, visitors can learn more on their visit.

Pollok Country Park

This expanse of nature is located outside of Glasgow and offers visitors the chance to take part in a wide range of activities such as exploring the beautiful woodlands and taking a leisurely walk on one of the many walking routes. The true highlight of Pollok Country Park is the many mountain and regular cycle paths and trails. There are routes of varying difficulty from green to red.
