Roy Bridge

Roy Bridge

This charming village lies of the outskirts of the magnificent Glen Spean, within easy reach of the largest town in the Highlands and the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’, Fort William. This is a fantastic location for avid hill walkers, hikers, cyclers and those who enjoy spending time outdoors amongst the natural splendour of the Scottish Highlands. The awe-inspiring Nevis Range Mountain Resort lays on the back garden of the town, with the tallest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis a popular spot among tourists.

We love Roy Bridge because...

  • Ideal for hill walkers
  • Sits under Ben Nevis
  • Great for a whisky tour

Ben Nevis

Ben Nevis measures a mind-blowing 1,345 metres above sea level and provides incredible panoramic views of the surrounding Highland countryside, as well as providing a fantastic backdrop landscape to photographers and walkers at the foot of the mountain. Surrounding the mountain is the alluring Glen Nevis, one of the most beautiful and vibrant glens in the whole of Scotland, with River Nevis running through it and countless opportunities to wander the green paths and get lost in this mythical area of Scotland.

Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery

Founded way back in 1825, this distillery is located at the foot of Ben Nevis. Experience the behind the scenes processes that go into producing one of the most distinguished spirits in the world and the pride of Scotland. Tour the production areas and learn how the mash is fermented, distilled, flavoured and aged before trying some for yourself in a tasting session. Buy a bottle or two in the distillery bottle shop and stay for some hearty home cooking in the coffee shop and restaurant.

Nevis Range Mountain Resort

This ski, snowboard and mountain biking centre is one of the premier locations to visit in Scotland. Featuring a mountain gondola with absolutely stunning panoramic views, which transports guests up to Aonach Mor, 650 metres high. The mountain provides activities for all ages, all year around. With snow sports in winter, to hiking and zip-wiring in the warmer months, as well as year round wildlife watching, walking and photography opportunities.
