This marvellous building was erected in the 16th century as a coaching inn and hotel and has gained recognition as a Grade 1 listed building. Located within the charming town of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, this hotel provides guests with access to all the city has to offer.
The 59 guestrooms are all individually decorated and feature unique furnishings and décor, inspired by the Elizabethan period with a modern twist. The hotel’s claim to fame is from Charles Dickens himself, who wrote the Pickwick Papers during a visit, other famous guests include Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and violinist Paganini.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in The Hayward restaurant which offers a quintessentially British menu with a few subtle twists.
