As part of the Crieff Hydro family of hotels, with great value accommodation and a beautiful setting in the Scottish countryside, this is a cracking hotel for outdoor activity breaks, an excellent stop-off point for touring holidays and a nice spot for quiet weekends in the countryside.

The building itself dates back more than a hundred years and retains many characterful features. The quirky style throughout comes to life through its claim as Scotland’s first upcycled hotel. A vintage double decker bus stands outside the hotel, an old fashioned red telephone box at reception and of course the upcycled furniture from the March Street Mills project.

From the smell of home-baked bread on arrival, to a Scotch beef steak cooked to perfection, food is a real highlight at The Park Hotel. Start the day with a breakfast brioche or buttery croissant fresh from their very own bakery, dine on local dishes throughout the day and even try their homemade pork scratchings – ideal with a pint in the bar. The restaurant is a light, open area for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with wood panelling and large windows, offering a lovely view across the gardens. The menu offers a true taste of Scotland, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce and a selection of dishes with a modern take on classic Scottish cooking.

The hotel also has its own public art gallery showcasing local talent. It is a great space to relax with a good book with views of the garden and Tweeddale Hills.
