Directions to Daffodil Hotel & Spa

The Daffodil Hotel & Spa is beautifully located on the shores of Grasmere, just a short drive from Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District.

By car - For those arriving by car and travelling north, take the M6 and exit at Junction 36, travelling south, take the M6 and exit at Junction 40, then follow signs for Ambleside and Grasmere. As you approach Grasmere village, the hotel will be clearly signposted, guiding you along the scenic route to the lakefront.

Parking - Our car park is located at the hotel entrance on a level, tarmac surface. We also have a drop-off point at the front door where we can assist with unloading luggage.

By train - If you’re arriving by train, the nearest station is Windermere, with regular connections from Oxenholme on the main West Coast line. From Windermere, it’s a quick taxi or bus ride to the hotel. We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing lakeside escape.
