How to get here
Directions to Isle of Mull Hotel
The Isle of Mull is accessible by ferry from three ports – Oban, Lochaline and Kilchoan. Most visitors travel on the Oban to Craignure route. From Oban, it is a 45 minute crossing across to Craignure. Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, our hotel is a short walk from the ferry terminal and only two kilometres from the main centre of Mull. If you are approaching from the north, you can use the Lochaline ferry which will take 15 minutes to cross to Fishnish on Mull. You can find more information about booking your ferry, timetables and any disruptions on the CalMac Ferries website.
A rail and sail service is available from Glasgow to Oban and the train station is only a short distance from the Oban ferry terminal where you can travel with CalMac Ferries as a foot, or cycle, passenger onwards to Craignure.

Beyond the immediate shoreline, there are several fantastic routes for dog owners. The path toward Duart Castle offers a great mix of coastal scenery and history, while the woodland trails near Scallastle Forest provide excellent terrain for more active dogs.

Our hotel is incredibly convenient for ferry travellers. We are located just a short walk from the Craignure Ferry Terminal, where the CalMac ferry arrives from Oban.
Whether you are arriving by car or as a foot passenger, you can reach our lobby within minutes, allowing you to begin your island retreat the moment you step off the boat.
Beyond our coastal location, the Isle of Mull is a hub for wildlife and adventure. Families can enjoy a trip to the colourful town of Tobermory (about 20 miles away) to explore the harbour, take a wildlife boat tour to spot seals and eagles, or visit the Mull Museum.
